Do you mind an antenna?

Last week we showed a teaser of the new app and received a few messages about the antenna on the Chaperone Gateway.

It's correct that the current version of the gateway doesn't have an antenna sticking out. They are internal. Would you mind if it had one?

This prototype was build to answer a question of a user about the range between Gateway and Sensors. As usual, we replied that the range is far greater then a car's length and sensors will relay message to one another.

When he told us, that it's not a car project, we couldn't just admit that we didn't actually know. So we build this gateway and used a gauge chap to find out. And with a second antenna sticking out, range has increased threefold to more than 200 meters.

We didn't give it much thought ever since but due to the strong feedback we wondered: Would you mind that antenna?
